MYSL 2024-25 Fee Schedule*

MYSL has moved to an online registration system for 2024-25. Players who are invited to join a travel competitive or SFYS competitive team will receive a link on Monday, May 6th to complete their registration. All new and returning players who competed on a NorCal or UpperHouse team during the 2023-24 season must attend tryouts.

MYSL endeavors to support teams and players who desire to play soccer recreational, competitive and travel competitive soccer.

Standard fees are based on year round play.

Up to two scholarships are available per team subject to conditions noted here.

The Mission Youth Soccer League registers micro-soccer, recreational, local competitive and travel teams within the league. For more information on how to find a team for your child (or children) please call the MYSL office at 949-698-3882.

Summer League Notes

Information for the 2024 MYSL Summer League will be released in March 2024.



Zip Code Discount

MYSL is a community-based organization committed to supporting youth soccer for the southeast side of San Francisco. A $25.00 discount is offered to players residing in the 94110, 94112, 94124, 94134 & 94107 zip codes.


Team Support/Equipment

Team equipment: teams will be reimbursed up to $250.00 per team per year for practice & game equipment (including uniforms). Teams are responsible for acquiring uniforms. MYSL does not provide uniforms or charge a uniform fee. Team Support/Equipment is only available to year-round teams.



Coach Support

MYSL relies on volunteers to recruit, manage, and coach our teams. MYSL does not compensate coaches. MYSL does not charge for coaching fees. Coaches/managers who register teams with MYSL are encouraged to participate in coach training. To that end, MYSL supports our volunteers as follows:

  • Payment (or reimbursement) for coach licensing and coaching courses (up to $100 per year per coach)
  • Coaching assessment & evaluation
  • SafeSport, Livescan & background check expenses



Travel Referee Fees

Referee Fees for CCSL play will be paid directly by MYSL or reimbursed to coaches per arrangements with League Director. Teams will be responsible for scheduling referees thru MYSL designated Referee Assignor.



Tournament Fees/Restrictions

For teams choosing to register at Travel, SF Competitive and Tournament Recreational level, MYSL will pay fees for one tournament per seasonal year subject to these conditions:

  • Tournament must be sanctioned by US SOCCER
  • Tournament can be played anytime between August 15 and June 1 of seasonal year
  • US CLUB tournaments OK
  • No guest players allowed
  • MYSL will cover additional registration costs if necessary
  • MYSL will pay directly to sanctioned tournaments by check as long as a team allows sufficient time for application and payment. All reimbursed tournament fees will be paid for face value only – MYSL will NOT reimburse for credit card fees.

Tournament fees are part of the offered year-round package. No refunds will be made if teams cannot or choose not to take advantage of this opportunity. See Basic Recreational package.



Partial Year Participation Fees

Players registering during the year are able to pay reduced fees as follows:

  • Registering after the conclusion of Fall season – $200.00 (covers Winter, Spring and Summer leagues)
  • Registering after the conclusion of Winter season – $150.00 (covers Spring and Summer leagues)
  • Registering for Summer League only – $75.00

Refunds are not available for players who register for fall and choose not to play Fall, Winter, Spring or Summer.



Transfer Fees

  • From a MYSL team to a MYSL team – $20.00
  • From a non-MYSL team to a MYSL team – MYSL registration fees only (adjusted for time of year, no transfer fee)
  • From a MYSL team to a non-MYSL team – $30.00 (there will be no refund of MYSL registration fees)



Scholarships

MYSL offers financial support for families through scholarships upon parent application directly to League Director. Scholarship award is subject to a determination of need based on application criteria. Applications are available here or by request to the League Director. A scholarship player requesting a transfer must reimburse the League for full applicable registration fees before a transfer can be processed.


Payment Plan

In response to interest in paying in installments, MYSL will offer a payment plan as follows:

  • Registrants can choose to pay all or half of Registration fees at time of submission of registration materials
  • If choosing to pay only half of fees at time of submission, the balance of fees will be due by October 1 of the seasonal year



Practice Field Availability

The San Francisco Recreation & Parks Dept has established the following practice field restrictions:

  • U4 – U11 teams are limited to one practice field per week
  • U12 – U19 teams are limited to two practice fields per week



SFRP/APBO Rules

The San Francisco Recreation & Parks Dept. has instituted new rules for access to SFRP fields:

  • Teams playing in San Francisco leagues (Micro, SFY Fall & Spring leagues, MYSL summer & winter leagues) will gain access as in the past.
  • Teams playing in CCSL or CRL (“Travel Teams”) will gain access through MYSL’s Approved Public Benefit Organization and are subject to various conditions (among them the SFRP residency requirements of no more than 2 nonresidents per teams up to grade 8 and 3 per older teams) to be outlined in other documents.
  • MYSL will support our “Travel Teams” to the best of our ability by representing teams to SFRP and paying any applicable fees for teams meeting all SFRP requirements.
  • There are severe penalties for not following SFRP/APBO rules. MYSL cannot and will not be responsible for monetary penalties assessed against teams. Please ask about and understand the APBO field access rules before submitting your paperwork.
